 |
| This multi-family building was conceived as in ¨L¨ shape, creating an interior entrance court to the building that provides ample light and city views to all of the secondary bedrooms in all the apartments. The court entrance has a reflecting pool that symbolically accompanies you through the transition from the hectic aggressive city of Lima to your bucolic home once you pass through the entrance doors. The street façade material is a resin that is stone-like providing protection and a look of solidity from the street. The interior court façade is playful with wood, stucco and glass floating and jumping about creating a light feel. The upper two floors of this complex have attic spaces allowing for spectacular two and three story spaces that are flooded with a soft glowing light, creating a warm wash despite the grey filled skies of Lima. All kitchens and bathrooms were custom for each individual owner. The living areas all face a park on the living room side. This façade is framed as a huge picture since the main views are from there. The sliding glass windows are floor to ceiling height, providing magnificent light and ventilation. |
